If you refer to the Train Time Book ,kept at your Station, you will find that on the 8th ulto. a Passenger Train is represented as having arrived at Thorneyburn at 7.04am and left at 7.05am and that a Goods Train passed at 7.08am there being only an interval of 3 Minutes between the departure of the Passenger Train and the passing of the Goods Train.
Rules 62 & 111 seem therefore to have been violated on the occasion and I have to request an explanation by return.
The matter is very serious.
