Dear Sir
In reply to your letter of the 11th inst. which I received this morning regarding the Train Time Book. I am sorry for having acted contrary to Rules 62 and 111 in allowing a Goods Train to follow a Passenger Train within Ten minutes.
The Signals are kept lighted until the Through Goods pass and I would give them the Caution Signal as I often do, I am not authorised to stop the Through Goods unless I have through Goods to lift at my station.
I Remain Sir
Your Obedient Servant
